Cooling and Heating Preventative Maintenance Check List

    Air Conditioning

  • Check condenser coil.
  • Check operating pressures for proper refrigerant. Check Freon as necessary.
  • Check thermostat calibration.
  • Check all electrical connections.
  • Check voltage and amperage on motors.
  • Check condensate drain and clean.
  • Replace or clean filters.
  • Lubricate all moving parts where necessary.
  • Check starting capabilities.

    Electrical Heat / Furnace

  • Check and calibrate thermostat, heating anticipators.
  • Inspect automatic blower control.
  • Oil and check the fan motor bearings.
  • Safety and efficiency check of low voltage wiring.
  • Adjust fan limit control switch.
  • Oil and check blower bearing.
  • Change furnace filter.
  • Adjust fan on-off control and set differential.
  • Check transformer’s output.
  • Clean thermostat contacts.
drain_line_clogIncluded in your maintenance agreement, we offer drain line cleaning and treatment during each inspection. If your drain lines haven’t been cleaned for an extended period of time, it’s possible that the drain lines may already have a significant buildup that may require additional visits to be completely cleared.

Terms and Conditions

  • Material not recovered by agreement will be charged at regular rates less 15% preferential customer discount.
  • Repair workmanship is Guaranteed for 60 days from date of repair.
  • Repair services requested by the customer will be provided during normal working hours, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM less 15% for agreement holders.
  • A Cousins Air discount will be applied to the purchase of all new air conditioning systems after this agreeement is in effect 30 days.
  • Cousins Air is not responsible for existing conditions, water leaks or damage.
